Marji Lang is a travel and documentary photographer from Paris, France. She traveled through Asia and the Indian subcontinent frequently since a decade. Ever since, India has become her home and a major source of inspiration. Focusing on cultural backgrounds and human condition through various themes such as daily life, religion, society, environmental portraits and sometimes landscapes, she is driven by colors and geometry.

In 2010 she was awarded by the National Geographic magazine contest while starting her photographic activity and her work was exposed in New York. Her photographs have since appeared in several magazines and newspapers, travel brochures, NGO reports and other supports including National Geographic Traveler, Photo District News, BBC Travel, Humanistic Report, Unesco annual reports, Woodmansterne publications, Gradhiva magazine & the quai Branly museum, National Geographic, cultural calendars, diaries and music CD’s covers. She is as well a Getty Images contributor.
